| Airplane | - It takes about 30-40 minutes to get to Yongbong Campus from the Gwangju Airport by taxi; the fare is around 10,000 won. - If you intend to take a bus, get on an Airport shuttle bus and transfer to intra-city bus # 38 at Gwangsong-gan stop, or transfer to bus # 26 at the Gwangcheon Bus Station and get off the bus at the East Gate of CNU (Hoomoon). |
| Train | Gwangju Train Station is 5 minutes away from the CNU Yongbong Campus by taxi; you will be charged a minimum fare. |
| Express bus or Inter-city bus | When you travel by express bus or inter-city bus, get off at the Gwangcheon Bus Station. It takes 15-20 minutes by taxi; the fare is about 3,000 to 4,000 won. Otherwise, you can take intra-city bus # 26. |
| Private vehicle | When you travel by a private vehicle, driving on the Honam/Namhae Highway is the most convenient. Exit the highway at Yongbong IC (between Seo-Gwangju IC and Dong-Gwangju IC) and follow the above direction on the map. (Follow the red-dotted line). It takes about 5-10 minutes to get to Yongbong Campus from Yongbong IC. Note that Yongbong IC has an exit only, so when you wish to drive back to the highway, start from the main gate of CNU; drive past Shinan Bridge; turn right at Unahm Overpass and get on the highway from Seo-Gwangju IC (follow the green line on the map.) |
